Current status on NCRTD routes:

Effective January 9th, 2021, NCRTD routes will operate by either one of the following: 

  • NORMAL SCHEDULE, NO RESERVATION REQUIRED: Route operating according to normal schedule. Seating remains limited.
  • RESERVATION REQUIRED: Route operating according to schedule, but passengers must reserve a seat at least 24 hours in advance by calling 866-206-0754 ext. 2.
  • DEMAND SERVICE: Passengers may reserve a ride from any stop on the route to any stop on the route within the service hours. Passengers must reserve a ride at least 24 hours in advance by calling 866-206-0754 ext. 2.

PLEASE REFER TO ROUTE INFO BELOW TO DETERMINE THE TYPE OF SERVICE EACH ROUTE IS OPERATING.

 

NCRTD Statement on Measures in Response to COVID-19:

North Central Regional Transit District’s RTD Blue Buses provide vital transportation services within north central New Mexico. The District respects that people may be feeling anxiety and concern about the safety of public transit in the regards to COVID-19; we take this very seriously. We continue to clean and disinfect our vehicles daily and regularly utilize a disinfecting fogger. Our top priorities are to continue service to the public, and to keep them and our employees healthy and safe. Thank you for partnering with us to help prevent the spread of any germs and flu. The District asks that anyone experiencing flu symptoms refrain from boarding our vehicles. FACE COVERINGS WILL CONTINUE TO BE MANDATORY IN ORDER TO BOARD THE BUS. SEATING WILL BE LIMITED DUE TO SOCIAL DISTANCING AND THE STATE ORDER REQUIRING SIX FEET SOCIAL DISTANCING.

 

100 RIVERSIDE  – Normal schedule, no reservations required

Improved connections at the Española Transit Center. Improved service to Ohkay Owingeh Pueblo. Reduced service to Dreamcatcher Theater. 100 Riverside serves Ohkay Owingeh Pueblo and Española.

110An all-new route featuring service along Fairview to the Westside and to Española Valley High School. 110 Westside/Crosstown serves Española .

150 CHIMAYO  – Normal schedule, no reservations required

150The Las Trampas route will now be served by the 150 Chimayo route. There will no longer be two routes. The route now extends to the Española Transit Center to provide for additional connections to RTD routes and NMDOT Park & Ride. 150 Chimayo serves Las Trampas, Truchas, Cordova, Chimayo, La Puebla, Santa Cruz, and Española.

160 SANTA CLARA  – Operates on a newly modified combined 160 Santa Clara, 220 Tesuque, 230 San Ildefonso route until further notice. Reservations required* To view route map and schedule click here

160Additional stops on US Highway 84/285 as well as NM74. Also with commuter service to Santa Fe. 160 Santa Clara serves Santa Clara Pueblo, Chamita, Ohkay Owingeh Pueblo, Española Transit Center, Cities of Gold Park & Ride, and Santa Fe .

180 EL RITO – Demand service 6am-6pm

180All times are modified. It is no longer a circular route, but rather from Española to El Rito through Ojo Caliente and back. Now with a commuter option. An added stop directly at Ojo Caliente Spa as well as additional stops along US Highway 285.180 El Rito serves El Rito, Ojo Caliente, and Española Transit Center.

190 CHAMA – Reservations required. 1pm trip are temporarily suspended. 11:15 North bound trip and 1:20pm South bound trip temporarily suspended. Demand service available 8am-5pm

190Now 5-days-per-week with a commuter connection at Española Park & Ride to Los Alamos. The 190 Chama route will now service the Abiquiu Rural Events Center as well as other stops on Highway US 84 previously serviced by the El Rito route. 190 Chama serves Chama, Tierra Amarilla, Canjilon, Ghost Ranch, Abiquiu, and Española Transit Center.

200 SANTA FE – Reservations required*

200Improved commuter options to arrive in Santa Fe before 8:00 am and a return just after 5:00 pm. One seat ride (no change of bus) to Taos in the morning (beginning at 9:00 am) and afternoon (beginning at 3:00 pm. 200 Santa Fe serves Santa Fe, Tesuque, Pojoaque, and Española Transit Center.

210 POJOAQUE-NAMBÉ – Dial-a-Ride 8am-5pm

300Will now serve as a dial-a-ride service. Please call 505-629-4725 or toll-free to 866-206-0754, to register or schedule. Dial-a-Ride serves the Pojoaque-Nambé area as the scheduled fixed route is no longer available.

255 MOUNTAIN TRAIL ROUTE – Demand service for certain times (7:30am and 8:15 from South Capitol Station to Ski Santa Fe, 3:30pm and 4:15pm from Ski Santa Fe to South Capitol Station)

230Providing service from the South Capitol Rail Runner Station to areas throughout Downtown Santa Fe, up Hyde Park Road, with a stop at Ten Thousand Waves, trailheads in the Santa Fe National Forest and to Ski Santa Fe.

260 LA CIENEGA – Demand Service 6am-6pm

230Providing service throughout the La Cienega Valley and provides connections to 599 Rail Runner Station and Santa Fe.

Better connections with 150 Chimayo in Las Trampas and 300 Taos at Taos County Administration Building. 330 Peñasco serves Taos, Las Trampas, Chamisal, Picuris Pueblo, Peñasco, and, seasonally, Sipapu Ski Resort.

PARATRANSIT: Two types of ADA complementary paratransit service are available: Subscription and Reservation
DEMAND: It is the goal of the NCRTD to provide mobility options for those residents of the Town of Taos that don’t have a fixed route readily available to them.

380 NIGHT RIDER  ​– Suspended for the 2020/2021 season

190New service operating this winter through March 23. Friday/Saturday evening service through the Town of Taos, El Prado, Arroyo Seco, Valdez to the Taos Ski Valley. Operates from 6:10 PM to 10:10 PM Friday and Saturday only from the third Saturday in December to the fourth Saturday in March.

400 LOS ALAMOS – Demand Service 6am-6pm

400Improved midday service times with connection to Santa Fe route at Cities of Gold Park & Ride. Additional stops within Los Alamos on Trinity Dr. at Diamond Dr., 7th St, and East Dr. at Airport Rd. Now servicing San Ildefonso Pueblo. 400 Los Alamos serves Los Alamos, Pojoaque, Santa Clara Pueblo, San Ildefonso, and Española Transit Center.

400The 810 Mora Route provides fare-free service between Holman and Las Vegas on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
