North Central RTD Blue Bus in the Community

Special Service Changes

Effective Date: Monday, April 14

To better serve Blue Bus™ riders, the District is reinstating three individual routes which will replace the 500 Tribal Combined Route. This change will improve connectivity and ensure more direct access for tribal communities and restore service to Los Alamos.

New Route Structure:

• • Restore 160 Santa Clara: Service between Santa Clara Pueblo, Española, and Santa Fe
    – Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
  • Restore 220 Tesuque: Connecting Pueblo of Pojoaque, Pueblo of Tesuque, and Santa Fe
    – Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:40 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
  • Restore 230 San Ildefonso: Providing access between Pueblo of Pojoaque, Pueblo de San Ildefonso, and Los Alamos
    – Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:22 a.m. – 7:05 p.m.
  • Suspend 500 Tribal Combined Route

Why This Change?

These updates are designed to:

• • Enhance access to essential services such as medical facilities, shopping, education, and employment in Santa Fe and Los Alamos
  • Improve connectivity for Pueblo de San Ildefonso riders traveling to Los Alamos
  • Restore direct service between Santa Clara Pueblo, Pueblo of Tesuque, and Santa Fe

By reinstating these routes, The District is ensuring reliable, efficient transportation that meets the needs of our communities
