Getting on the Bus
Before you take your first ride, it’s helpful to know what to do. Here are some essential tips to ensure a smooth and stress-free experience:
- Arrive early: Be at your stop a few minutes before the scheduled arrival time.
- Know your route: Keep a printed schedule with you or use the myStop® bus tracking app for real-time updates.
- Call out your stop in advance: Our drivers are only required to stop at designated timed stops unless a passenger requests otherwise. Be sure to alert your driver in plenty of time so they can safely let you off at your destination.
Finding Your Route
To get where you need to go safely and on time, it’s important to familiarize yourself with your bus route. You can find printed schedules at key locations or view digital versions on our website. For the most up-to-date information, download the myStop® app, a free tool that allows you to:

Requesting Stops
Different buses have different ways to request a stop, so it’s important to know how to let your driver know when you need to get off.
- Buses with a pull cord: Simply pull the cord running horizontally above your seat to signal your stop.
- Buses without a pull cord: Verbally request your stop by politely calling out to the driver. You can mention your stop number or stop name to be as clear as possible.
Always give the driver plenty of notice so they can take you to your stop safely and on time.
